Report: Microsoft 365 is down for thousands of users. According to the outage-tracking website Downdetector.com, Microsoft’s productivity software was down for thousands of users on Thursday. Downdetector, which tracks outages by combining status reports from a variety of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform, reported more than 13,100 incidents of individuals reporting issues with Microsoft 365. According to its status page on X, Microsoft 365 was looking into a potential issue that could affect multiple services after discovering a portion of North American service infrastructure that was not processing traffic as expected. Because these reports are submitted by users, the actual number of affected users may differ from what is displayed on Downdetector.
