Your training is your medal: Partner of the Year for Microsoft

At Avanade, we recently enjoyed yet another amazing moment of recognition: we were named Microsoft’s Global SI Partner of the Year (for a record 19 times!) and the first-ever Global Business Transformation Partner of the Year for Copilot, alongside Accenture.

Furthermore, we won the Global Partner of the Year award for Dynamics 365 Sales & Customer Insights and were finalists for Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Service, and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain. We were also recognized in every Business Applications category that we entered. After winning in 2023, we were also recognized as a Finalist for the Global Low Code Application Development award.

Naturally, it is really satisfying to receive all of this acclaim, but what does it actually mean in the end?

An old boxing proverb that truly speaks to me is, “Training is your trophy.” In other words, the procedure matters more than the result. True progress and purpose are found in the many miles of roadwork and the long hours spent on the heavy bag, speed bag, and jump rope—not in any one victory. This proverb sums up our experience at Avanade wonderfully. The true and enduring prize is the incredible things we get to accomplish for our clients on a daily basis.

Awards undoubtedly provide for a celebratory moment, but the year-round sense of fulfillment we get comes from hearing and seeing how we’re assisting clients in overcoming some of their most difficult obstacles, accomplishing noteworthy milestones, or completely changing their businesses.

These victories need a lot more work than just writing a submission. The cornerstones are our teams’ tireless preparation, unwavering dedication to quality and creative solutions, and ongoing efforts to uphold our strategic alliance with Microsoft. Our close partnerships with Microsoft and our clients enable us to take advantage of the newest technological advancements in order to deliver the most sophisticated and dependable real-world solutions. solutions that support customers in achieving their goals.

since of this, these honors ultimately matter to our clients since each one of them serves as confirmation that they are working with some of the greatest in the industry and a testimonial to what we can accomplish for them. It all comes down to our capacity to bring value and lead change. It all comes down to the success tales we assist in writing and the enduring effects on our clients’ enterprises.

2023/2024: An exceptional year!
In closing, I would want to pause and consider what an amazing year it has been since we won the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform awards last year. In March of this year, Forrester identified Avanade as a Leader in the Forrester Wave: Microsoft Business Applications Services Q1 2024, outlining how and why Avanade is “Known as one of the best in Microsoft Business Applications implementation services.” We were also named a Leader in Everest Group’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Services PEAK Matrix 2023 Assessment, co-located with Accenture. Collectively, we should interpret this acknowledgment as confirmation that we are acting in our clients’ best interests, as it is the standard by which we should be evaluated.

However, the past year has been seismic in terms of how the AI industry has taken off. It’s not just about accolades. I wonder if 2024 will be remembered as the year of the copilot in history! The Power Platform has undergone significant development, a number of new Microsoft Copilots have been introduced, Copilot Studio is a recent addition to the market (we’ve also introduced a new service to assist clients in exploring autonomous copilots using the new agentic capabilities (available through Copilot Studio), and we were even highlighted in an official Microsoft case study for Copilot for Sales.

And there are no indications that things will slow down—clients are approaching us more frequently for assistance in managing the difficulties. Microsoft is committed to its clients by developing new features continuously and by making it our goal to comprehend the entire landscape, regardless of how quickly it changes.
